Kirilo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s Office of the President, recently discussed the remarkable ability of Ukrainian children to adapt to education during wartime. He stated that the ongoing Russian aggression is forcing these young individuals to mature quickly and learn in extraordinarily challenging environments. “Today, thousands of Ukrainian children will attend classes—some in regular classrooms, while others will be in shelters or underground schools. This is the harsh reality of war imposed on us by the aggressor,” Budanov remarked.
Budanov expressed that while Russia aims to rob Ukrainian children of their future, the opposite effect is occurring. Despite the ongoing conflict, air raid sirens, and the need to seek refuge from Russian bombardments, students continue to pursue their education, demonstrating incredible resilience and determination.
