Ihor Terekhov Advocates for Rights of Displaced Children in New Bill

Ihor Terekhov has called for the restoration of rights for children displaced by conflict during an online meeting with members of parliament from the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine. He unveiled a legislative proposal focused on the protection and systematic support for displaced persons. A significant aspect of his proposal is to grant internally displaced person (IDP) status to children born after their families were forced to relocate, ensuring they enjoy the same rights as other displaced children. Terekhov emphasized, “There cannot be a situation where two children from the same family have different rights.”
