Rafał Brzoska’s Ongoing Battle with Meta Following Account Suspension

Following his vocal criticism of Meta’s management in Poland, entrepreneur Rafał Brzoska’s Instagram account has been suspended. Brzoska, the founder of InPost, remarked, “State within a state,” in response to the incident.
His comments refer to a recent controversy highlighted over the weekend.
On Friday afternoon, Brzoska shared a heated post on platform X, including a screenshot from Facebook depicting a figure resembling him in handcuffs and a bathrobe, surrounded by police officers.
He wrote, “This is how Meta operates in Poland—constantly tolerating fake news about myself and many other public figures…” His criticism intensified from there.
Brzoska vs. Meta
Additionally, he named individuals managing Meta in Poland, claiming they are “operational executives associated with the Polish market, composed of Poles (intentionally in lowercase), who have sold themselves to the criminal activities of this company in our country.”
Brzoska’s Legal Victory
Brzoska previously won a legal case against Meta in the spring of 2026 regarding similar issues.
The case focused on false advertising on social media, where scammers used the images of well-known figures, including Brzoska, to promote fraudulent financial offers.
He and his wife, Omenaa Mensah, have repeatedly fallen victim to misinformation and deepfakes, with false reports surfacing about violent incidents and police intervention. Despite these issues, Meta has maintained that it is not liable for the actions of scammers on its platforms.
However, the court determined that the owner of Facebook and Instagram is responsible for the advertising content displayed on its platforms, as reported by Rafał Brzoska.
