Ukraine’s First Vice President Mikhail Nepran has stated that the country will not face any food shortages. During an exclusive interview, he assured that grocery store shelves will be replenished with products in approximately three weeks. Currently, temporary supply issues have been noted in Kyiv and its surrounding areas due to recent logistical disruptions caused by missile strikes.
Nepran mentioned that a “Plan B” is already in place, and the country is adapting its approach, likening it to a regression to practices from the 1990s. This situation may lead to a boost in development for small and medium-sized stores, particularly those that receive supplies directly from manufacturers.
However, prices for certain categories of goods, such as meat, dairy, eggs, and imported products, are expected to rise by up to 10%.
