Drone Strike Targets Civilians at Market in Sumy Region

A drone strike in the Sumy region of Ukraine has resulted in numerous civilian injuries. The head of the regional administration characterized the attack as cynical, emphasizing the significant impact on innocent people.
As of now, ten injuries have been reported, with two individuals in critical condition receiving medical attention. Ongoing hospitalizations continue for the affected individuals.
Drone attack on civilians at market in Bilopillia
According to a post by “Kordon.Media”, local mayor Yuriy Zark provided updates indicating that the number of injured had risen to thirteen by 9:32 AM. He detailed the attack, stating that around 7:00 AM, a Russian FPV drone struck a vehicle. Following the explosion, civilians rushed to assist, only to be targeted by a follow-up attack from a hostile “Molniya” drone. Among the victims, two individuals are in very serious condition, while others have sustained minor to moderate injuries, all of whom are currently hospitalized.
Previously, on August 4, a Russian FPV drone circled around a man selling vegetables at a market in Kherson with his wife. The drone targeted 52-year-old Yuriy, exploding near him, though he managed to survive the incident.
