Actor Sergei Desnitsky was urgently hospitalized from his apartment in Moscow with heart failure and severe anemia.
The 83-year-old Honored Artist of the RSFSR developed weakness, shortness of breath and swelling, and his blood pressure rose. He is now in intensive care in serious condition, which is complicated by chronic diseases.
Desnitsky became popular thanks to his roles as American spies and officials in films. In the film “The Great Game” he played the director of the CIA.
