Ukrainian authorities have apprehended Vladyslav Falyush, the deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, for allegedly soliciting a bribe of 1.1 million UAH. According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Office of the Prosecutor General, Falyush was demanding 5% of the contract value from a contractor in exchange for ensuring the approval of contracts related to the repair of interregional roads.
