Luis Diaz Surprises Fans with New Look After World Cup

Colombian striker Luis Diaz surprised Bayern Munich fans on Sunday morning during the team’s arrival on Jeju Island, South Korea.
As most of Bayern’s stars were welcomed with cheers and requests for autographs or selfies, Diaz managed to navigate through the crowd with relative ease, as many fans failed to recognize him due to his striking new hairstyle.
Luis Diaz Dyes Hair Grey-White
The change in Diaz’s appearance comes after he participated in the World Cup held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Following the tournament, he took a vacation and returned with his hair dyed grey-white, significantly altering his look.
This is not the first time Diaz has opted for a new hairstyle. After his transfer from Liverpool to Bayern last summer, he surprised fans with blonde highlights. However, this latest transformation is more dramatic than any previous change.
Uli Hoeness Dismisses Saudi Move for Diaz
While much attention has been focused on his hair, there were recent discussions regarding a potential transfer to Saudi Arabia. Al Hilal reportedly offered him a net salary of €25 million per year, while Bayern was said to demand between €120 million and €150 million to release him.
Uli Hoeness, the honorary president of Bayern Munich, dismissed these speculations, stating, “We have the best trio in the world: Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz. We would be crazy to let any of them go.” He further emphasized the club’s investment of €70 million in Diaz from Liverpool, questioning the logic of pursuing other players whose performances remain uncertain.
