Serious Consequences Reported After Drone Strike in Russia

Authorities have reported significant consequences following a nighttime drone attack in Russia. The strike primarily affected facilities in the Novospasskoye area, specifically targeting a liquefied gas base operated by NS-Oil. Emergency services are currently on-site to manage the situation, and officials have urged residents to remain calm and refrain from sharing images or videos of the drone debris and ongoing air defense operations.

Local monitoring group Exilenova+ reported that the drone strikes also involved a linear production dispatch station reservoir of Transneft-Ural in Tuymazy, Bashkiria. This facility is critical for Russia’s fuel infrastructure, and residents noted that there were at least eight impacts in the area.

Videos emerging from the incident show thick black smoke rising from the affected sites. In the Voronezh region, Governor Alexander Gusev confirmed that there were casualties as a result of the attack, stating, “Sadly, we have victims and serious consequences. We will provide further updates once operational services conclude their work.” This has heightened concerns as reports of explosions and fires at a Wildberries warehouse in Novaya Usmaniya circulate, although this information has yet to be confirmed.
