Dinamo Targets Cape Verde International Ailson Tavares

With the start of the Superliga season approaching, Dinamo is intensifying its efforts in the transfer market. The club is reportedly aiming to sign Ailson Tavares, a 27-year-old midfielder currently with Beitar Jerusalem.
Ailson Tavares is entering the final year of his contract with the Israeli club. He plays as a defensive midfielder and has made four appearances for the Cape Verde national team. However, he was not part of the squad that participated in the recent World Cup held in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. He previously represented Portugal at the U19 level.
Dinamo’s Pursuit of Ailson Tavares
Since joining Beitar Jerusalem in 2025, Ailson has become a target for the “Red Dogs,” as Dinamo is known. This information was shared by journalist Emanuel Roșu.
In the last season, Ailson played 21 matches for Beitar Jerusalem, and his offensive contribution was limited to one assist. His market value is estimated at €600,000.
Ailson began his career in Portugal with Academica and has played for several clubs including Alcanenense, BC Branco, Torrense, Anadia, Coimbra, Felgueiras, and ultimately Beitar Jerusalem. Notably, he was a free agent from the summer of 2022 until March 2023 after parting ways with Torrense and signing with Anadia.
Standing at 1.88 meters tall and being right-footed, Ailson is recognized as a defensive midfielder. Last season in Israel, he had a notably high average of yellow cards, receiving seven cautions over the season, which translates to one card every three matches. This pattern is not isolated; during his time at Felgueiras, he accumulated ten yellow cards in 32 matches, and with Coimbra, he received ten yellow cards in 30 appearances.
During this transfer window, Dinamo has already brought in several players for the first team, including Răzvan Radu from Metalul Buzău, Martin Pascual from Mirandes, Alaa Bellaarouch from Braga, Ștefan Opriș from Poli Iași, and Oliver Hintsa from Sogndal.
