Official notification: Transportation fares have been increased, with single rides on the metro, buses, trolleybuses, and trams now costing 30 UAH. Rides on marshrutkas are priced at 25 UAH. To help passengers save, a discount system is in place for card top-ups, allowing rides to cost only 25 UAH when purchasing 50 trips.
Discounts remain available for all eligible groups who retain their rights for free or reduced fare travel. Additionally, with the fare increase, the penalty for traveling without a ticket has risen to 600 UAH, which is 20 times the cost of a single trip.
It’s important to note that previously purchased tickets priced at 8 UAH will remain valid until September 14, 2026. Starting August 1, a transfer ticket will be introduced at a cost of 60 UAH, permitting unlimited travel for 90 minutes.
