Igor Terekhov has underscored the necessity for substantial reforms within the TCC system in light of recent events in Lviv. He stated that the Ministry of Defense must ensure the TCC operates legally, transparently, and humanely. The push for reform has been on the agenda for over six months, and Terekhov insists that society deserves to witness tangible changes rather than mere declarations of intent. “Therefore, the response should not be punishment as a way to ‘close the issue.’ The answer must lie in real reform of the system,” he asserted.
