Adrian Rus, 30, played a full match in Universitatea Craiova’s impressive 4-1 victory over ML Vitebsk, stating his ambitions to advance far in the Champions League.
The team made a strong start in this campaign, winning decisively in the first leg of the Champions League preliminary round.
Should they qualify, Craiova will face the winner between FK Borac Banja Luka from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria’s Levski Sofia, who played to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening.
The return match against Vitebsk will be held in Craiova on July 17 at 20:30, with coverage available on Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1.
