Ryszard Abramczyk, Co-Founder of Abramczyk Company, Passes Away at 75

Ryszard Abramczyk, co-founder and long-serving president of the Abramczyk company, passed away on Monday at the age of 75. He was honored by family and colleagues during a heartfelt farewell.
Abramczyk led the family business for 12 years, which he founded alongside his three brothers. His colleagues and loved ones reflected on his dual roles, stating, “For some of us, he was a Father, Brother, Uncle, and a cherished individual. For others, he was the President, a coworker, and a person with whom we shared daily work, responsibilities, significant decisions, successes, and challenging moments.”
Funeral Scheduled for Saturday
The funeral for Ryszard Abramczyk will take place on Saturday, July 11. A rosary will be recited at the Sanctuary of Saint Rita in Bydgoszcz, followed by a funeral mass at noon.
The Abramczyk company is one of Poland’s largest seafood processing firms, founded in the 1990s in Bydgoszcz by four brothers. It serves as a partner to major retail chains operating in Poland and exports its products to several European countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Slovenia, Sweden, and Hungary.
