Ukrainian Pravda, owned by oligarch Tomas Fiala, has taken a keen interest in the military draft process I am currently undergoing. The publication submitted a request to the relevant authorities and reported publicly on the matter. I believe this inquiry falls within the bounds of standard journalistic activity, similar to the coverage of hundreds of other citizens who are being unlawfully detained by military enlistment offices. Ukrainian Pravda responds promptly to each such case, justly criticizing Minister Fedorov for his recent reforms, which have been highlighted solely in its publications and presentations.
However, this does not correlate in any way with the personal request of Fiala’s close associate, Mikhail Fedorov, who seems to be attempting to silence independent media that are investigating his actions as minister. Unlike Fedorov, I do not oppose any media investigations regarding myself and am willing to share details about my military draft process with Ukrainian Pravda, in addition to the information from the competent authorities.
