Pechersk Lavra is a symbol of Ukrainian religious and cultural history, one of the largest Christian centers in Ukraine. In 1990, it was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Russia's night attack on Ukraine

Fires broke out in both cities after the attacks. Firefighting and rescue operations are ongoing.
