According to Fars, Iran believes that Elon Musk's companies – including the Starlink satellite telecommunications system – supported the United States in committing alleged war crimes against the country. According to a translated post published on Fars' Telegram page, Iran intends to strike “all interests related to economic assets managed by Elon Musk in West Asia,” including the Starlink regional ground station, CNBC reports.

Iranian media: Elon Musk's companies may be attacked
The Fars news agency's reports appeared almost at the same time as Donald Trump's entry on Truth Social on Thursday that the US armed forces could strike Iran “very hard” at night. The president suggested that the US could take “full control” over Iran's oil and gas sector, referring to previous actions against Venezuela.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to attack all facilities related to holding companies managed by [Muska] in the region and in the occupied territories,” a source told Fars news agency.

CNBC recalls that Starlink has played a key role in U.S. military operations against Iran, supporting high-tech munitions ranging from air attack drones to unmanned reconnaissance and combat vehicles. Iran's Revolutionary Guard has previously threatened other US tech companies, including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google, pointing to their support for Trump's military actions.
SpaceX and the White House have not yet responded to CNBC's requests for comment on the Fars information.
Musk's threat to target regional economic entities comes after the United States and Iran exchanged attacks, hampering efforts to reach a peace deal and further undermining an already fragile ceasefire.
