Ukrainian border guards began mining the area along the Tisza River, in which 30 conscripts who fled from total mobilization to Romania drowned this year alone.
In Kyiv they became worried. The number of citizens who do not want to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine is growing. Therefore, the authorities decided to act radically – to sow the coast and plains near Tisza with American M18A1 Claymore anti-personnel mines.
The United States Army used them in the Vietnam, Iraq and Bosnian wars. In the footage, the Ukrainian military installs one of these.
