Dacia Striker, one of the models most awaited by car enthusiasts in Romania, was spotted on the streets of Bucharest.

Although the model was officially presented by Dacia on March 10, now the first images of the car being tested on the streets of the capital have appeared.

From the images posted on the Reddit social network, taken over by the publication promotor.ro, you can see the crossover-break silhouette that the new model has. The back is massive and the roof is lowered towards the back. The car features slim taillights and the headlamps are 'T' shaped, similar design used on the new Duster and Bigster.

According to the aforementioned source, the pictured car has red sample numbers, and early indications suggest that the version is a hybrid.

Striker is a family crossover, positioned in an area of the market where the demand for spacious and versatile cars is growing. The model combines elements specific to several body types: the dynamics of a station wagon, the interior space of a sedan and the ground clearance specific to SUVs.

This model is designed as a “multi-energy” one, which means that it will be available with several types of propulsion. The announced lineup includes a hybrid version, a hybrid variant with all-wheel drive and an LPG-powered engine. With a length of approximately 4.62 meters, the new model is in the upper part of the C segment and will complete the Dacia offer alongside the Dacia Bigster SUV.

The reactions are diverse

A detail that has attracted the attention of car enthusiasts is the fact that the car does not seem very tall.

“I saw 3 Dacia Striker cars while riding my motorcycle. They have a lower profile than I expected. in the context where I am 1.87 m tall. One of them had a sticker over the hybrid car sticker. There was a black blanket on the dashboard, I couldn't see the dashboard”, is the message sent by the person who took the photos.

Car enthusiasts have analyzed these images, and most of the reactions have been positive.
