The number of pigs in Russia has increased
The pig population in Russia has already increased by 2.3% this year compared to 2023. The total number of pigs has already reached almost 30 million, according to Rosstat data. Chickens also did not stand aside: their number increased by 1%.
However, the number of large and small livestock continues to decline, not only in agriculture, but throughout the country as a whole.
