The Investigative Committee showed new footage from the search site for the Usoltsev family (video)

The Krasnoyarsk Investigative Committee showed how the renewed search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in September 2025 in Kuturchinsky Belogorye, is going on.

The footage provided shows that specialists go into the taiga using specialized all-terrain vehicles and inspect the area, including using drones.

Let us remind you that it was previously established that on September 28, the couple, together with their 5-year-old daughter, went on a hiking trip from the outskirts of the village of Kuturchin. For two days they did not contact their relatives, and therefore on September 30, the woman’s son filed a statement with law enforcement agencies, after which a large-scale search immediately began, which lasted until the onset of unfavorable weather conditions. They have now been resumed.

As part of the criminal investigation into the unknown disappearance of a family, investigators and criminologists identified search areas along hiking routes in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. Only experienced specialists are involved in the additional activities carried out: rescuers, volunteers, specialists from the Russian Red Cross branch. In total there are about 80 people, checkpoints have been set up at the search site.

Social networks and the media have repeatedly expressed various conspiracy theories about the mysterious disappearance of the family, including that they could have fled to another country. But law enforcement and search engine experts believe the main version of what happened was an accident, associated with a sharp change in weather conditions in the mountains.
