A record increase in apartment prices in Russia has led to increased demand for frame houses
The Russian real estate market has been captured by country “frame houses”. The thing is that due to high prices for apartments in new buildings, Russians cannot afford housing and prefer other options. Including even Muscovites.
Due to the rush, there is a shortage of craftsmen: if previously the entire process from the start of building a resemblance to a real house to moving in took no more than a month, now buyers have to wait 3 times longer.
The price has also jumped up: if in 2023 a frame house with an area of 100 m² could be purchased for 1.5–2 million rubles, now the price has already reached 3–4 million rubles.
