More than 15 thousand graduates of the Krasnoyarsk Territory take the Unified State Exam in mathematics

The main wave of the Unified State Exam continues in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Today, graduates take exams in mathematics at the specialized and basic levels. This was reported by the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

6,988 people chose specialized mathematics, 8,164 participants took basic mathematics. A total of 160 examination points have been opened in the region, 52 of which are located in hard-to-reach areas.

“This year the Unified State Exam in specialized mathematics has become the most popular elective subject among our graduates. 46% of the children chose him, and this is 2% more than last year,” noted the Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova.

Basic mathematics is taken by graduates who need this subject to obtain a certificate. The profile level is chosen by those who plan to enroll in areas related to technical specialties, applied computer science, artificial intelligence, data analysis, energy and management.

The Unified State Examination in basic mathematics lasts 3 hours. To achieve a satisfactory result, you need to correctly solve 7 tasks. 3 hours 55 minutes are allotted for specialized mathematics. Participants need to complete 19 tasks. The first part tests basic skills, the second requires more confident use of mathematics and affects a high result. The exam results will be known no later than June 21.

Previously, graduates had already written the Unified State Exam in literature, chemistry, history and the Russian language. The next exam will take place on June 11. On this day, the children will take physics and social studies.
