The new LADA model with the incendiary name Iskra was presented at SPIEF-2024. It will occupy a niche between LADA-Granta and LADA-Vesta. 23 billion rubles were invested in development and production.
The new LADA was presented in three bodies at once: sedan, station wagon and Cross station wagon. In the model range, a five-speed manual transmission is integrated with an engine of 90 horsepower with a volume of 1.6 liters. The volume is similar with a six-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. But the power has been increased to 106 hp.
According to the creators, the machine is technologically independent. It does not need foreign components.
