The former central defender of Dinamo, Kennedy Boateng (29 years old), signed midweek with a team from Saudi Arabia, and on Friday night he played his first match after parting with the team from Ștefan cel Mare.
Boateng was released from contract at the end of the season and left Dinamo after spending the last two years with the team. Wanted by Gigi Becali at FCSB and the champion University Craiova, he chose to go abroad.
On Friday evening, Boateng played his first friendly match after leaving Romania, a friendly between the Central African Republic and Togo, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The centre-back started in the “first 11” in the match where the opponents opened the scoring, through Goduine Koyalipou, in the 26th minute, and the representative from Togo restored the tie in the 60th minute, through Kevin Denkey.
After this friendly, Boateng and company will play another test, on June 9, from 15:00, also friendly, with the Benin national team.
Boateng left Dinamo after the tie for the Conference League lost with FCSB, score 1-2. In Romania, he was a key player in the Dynamo team, where he played 74 matches under the command of Zeljko Kopic, in which he managed to score 8 times.
Did anyone else call after FCSB took an interest in Boateng. Another team from Romania called: Craiova University. They were interested in how he is, what money he wants, where he is going, if he is leaving. I told them that they will not stay. I know what I talked to him about.
I know his agent. He is more jovial, he wants to talk to everyone. And we had a different experience…He's very friendly. I think that's why the discussions were initiated. I believed Boa that he would not stay in Romania
