The man was escorted off the pitch by two law enforcement officers, while Wembanyama appeared oblivious to what was happening.

“I have never been in such a situation before. I didn't know how to behave. It surprised me almost as much as when a bat appeared on the court,” explained the leader of the San Antonio Spurs.

“I don't think it was a major event. Security intercepted him and took him out. Everyone moved on and focused on the next phase,” Texans coach Mitch Johnson said.
