Unexpected news in the Superliga. On Friday, June 5, Dinamo announced the separation from coach Zeljko Kopic.

Football, like life, is composed of events, feelings and experiences, and the most beautiful of all remains the moment of achievement.
Arriving at Dinamo in December 2023, at a critical moment for the club, Željko Kopić has worked non-stop to bring the team back to where it belongs. Together with his staff and the support of the club, he managed to keep Dinamo in the first football echelon.
Next, he managed to bring Dinamo back, after a 7-year break, to the play-off of the Super League, and in the recently concluded season, the sporting progress was again visible through the semi-final of the Romanian Cup, access to the play-off and the ranking in 4th place of the national league.
During the two and a half seasons, Željko Kopić collected an impressive number of 112 official games on the technical bench of the team, thus ranking in a select top of the longest serving coaches in the history of our club.
Today, our paths end up parting, both sides agreeing that a new challenge is needed.
The Dinamo club sincerely thanks Mr. Kopić for all the work done on the club's bench, for all the contribution brought to the return of Dinamo to the top of Romanian football, and we wish him continued success in his coaching career.
