Large quantities of vegetables and fruits sold nationally in one of the largest supermarket chains as Romanian products are actually imported from Turkey by a company from Ilfov, owned by Turkish businessmen, concluded an investigation by ANAF in collaboration with the Romanian Customs Authority (AVR), according to information obtained by Profit.ro.

The ANAF and AVR investigations started from fiscal aspects, but the checks also led to information on the source of the goods and the practices of the company in question.
