Fulham parted ways with Marco Silva (48) this evening after five years of collaboration. The Portuguese coach has finished his contract with the London side, with whom he finished 11th in the last edition of the Premier League, and his next destination seems to be Benfica.
Marco Silva spent 229 matches on the technical bench of the team at “Craven Cottage”, being the one who promoted them from the Championship in his very first season. After which he managed to save Fulham from relegation without emotion, consistently finishing in the middle of the table, between 10th and 13th places.
We can confirm that Marco Silva will leave his role as Head Coach at Fulham this summer.
It's a position that Silva has held for five years – a spell which was laden with success.
