PSG – Arsenal, Champions League final. PSG retain the continent's top club trophy after a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Londoners Arsenal after 1-1 at the end of 120 minutes. At the awards ceremony, compared to previous editions, the organizers have not prepared a fireworks show when the champion team raises the trophy above their heads.
The highlight of the evening came during the awards ceremony when captain Marquinhos lifted the Champions League trophy above his head to the applause of tens of thousands of spectators at the Budapest stadium. PSG's players started the fiesta with the supporters, at the end of a night in which they were led from the 6th minute, but they came back into the game in the second half.
However, the ceremony also had an unusual detail. Unlike previous editions, the lifting of the trophy was not accompanied by a fireworks show in the sky.

Organizers limited themselves to a few pyrotechnics inside the arena, but the Budapest sky remained surprisingly quiet as Marquinhos lifted the trophy.
The absence of fireworks at the awards ceremony contrasted with the spectacular images offered by the finals in previous years, when the awards ceremony was complemented by extensive shows. Even so, the joy of the French was not dimmed, in the bosom of the team it was a celebration.
