“Poland, the Baltic states, now Romania”. Donald Tusk warns NATO about Russia's provocations, after the Galati incident

NATO member countries should finally take “seriously” Russia's “challenges”, such as the incident with the crashed drone in Romania, but also statements such as those made by former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, according to which “EU citizens will no longer be able to sleep peacefully”, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Saturday, notes Agerpres.

“Poland, the Baltic states, now Romania. More and more Russian provocations,” Tusk wrote on Facebook, referring to incidents in these countries.

“Yesterday (Friday – nr), the former president of Russia (Dmitri Medvedev – nr) declared that EU citizens will no longer be able to sleep peacefully. All those in NATO should finally take these facts and words seriously,” said the head of the government in Warsaw.

The European Union states would do better to keep quiet about the drone attack on a residential block in Romania, as they are all directly involved in the war with Russia, the vice president of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitri Medvedev, said on Friday.

“Be prepared: this will continue to happen. It is war! And the citizens of the EU states, as the population of some countries at war, will not be able to sleep peacefully. Especially where drone production units are located for the needs of banderist formations (a term used in Russian speech to designate Ukrainian authorities or forces, with reference to Stepan Bandera, a figure of Ukrainian nationalism during the Second World War – no)”, Medvedev also said, commenting on the incident in Romania.
