Farul Constanța, winner of the Youth League, prevailed against FC Bacău, winner of the Youth Cup, 2-1, in the Super Cup.
The “double” achieved by Matei Berchez (40, 45) was enough for the “sailors” to claim their second trophy of the season.
Farul Constanța, victory over FC Bacău
On Friday, May 29, Farul Constanța met FC Bacău, in a duel for the Youth Supercup. The game took place in Ovidiu, on the field of this season's champion in the Youth League.
Although the first part of the match seemed to be headed for a draw, towards the end, Farul managed to score twice, the author of both goals being Matei Berchez (40 and 45).
After returning from the locker room, FC Bacău started better, managing to reduce the difference through the goal of Denis Tînjală (53)
However, the “sailors” knew how to maintain the advantage on the table, winning the game 2-1, a victory that brought their second trophy of the season to the showcase.

Farul Constanța will go to the UEFA Youth League
Following the success in the championship, Farul Constanța will represent Romania in the next season of the UEFA Youth League, where it will participate in the champions' route.
In their previous appearance in the competition, Farul started the European route in the second round, from where they eliminated FK IMT Belgrade from Serbia 2-1 on aggregate. In the next round, the Constantinians succumbed to the Croatian champions, Lokomotiva Zagreb, where they lost 1-6 overall.
