The owner of an underground alcohol warehouse from Krasnoyarsk faces up to three years in prison (video)

A 59-year-old owner of an illegal alcohol warehouse will appear in court in Krasnoyarsk. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

During operational activities, employees of the economic security and anti-corruption department established that a Krasnoyarsk resident purchased a large batch of alcoholic beverages for resale. He stored the illegal goods in a rented container on the territory of the base in the Central district of the city.

As a result of inspecting the premises, police discovered and seized 3,880 bottles of alcohol-containing products of various sizes without the appropriate documents. A criminal case was opened against the attacker under Part 1 of Art. 171.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal production and (or) circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products.”

The investigation has now been completed. The case materials with the approved indictment were sent to the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk for consideration on the merits. The man faces up to three years in prison.
