In Krasnoyarsk, management companies and homeowners' associations (HOAs) began flushing and pressure testing heating systems in apartment buildings. This was reported to the mayor's office.

This work must be carried out before the new heating season. In total, 5,618 apartment buildings in the city must be prepared for winter. Currently, washing and pressure testing have already been carried out in 363 buildings. Houses whose residents complained about the cold in their apartments last winter are under special control. On behalf of the head of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin, management organizations must carry out the necessary work over the summer so that the problems do not recur.

Washing and pressure testing are performed using special pumps. They help eliminate blockages and air pockets that interfere with the normal circulation of water in the heating system. In addition, by the end of August, valves in houses must be replaced if necessary, and hot water supply and heating pipelines must be repaired. Until the end of July, management organizations are required to check the insulation of attics, basements and doors, the operation of heating points, smoke and ventilation ducts, as well as metering devices. Before the start of the heating season, each home must undergo a thermal inspection. The specialist will inspect the components, heating networks and metering devices.

Acts on the work and inspections carried out must be sent to the Department of Housing and Public Utilities and Public Improvement by August 3.
