The legendary Ukrainian singer Andrey Mikolaichuk, in an interview with Ukrainian journalist, founder of the online publication “GORDON” Dmitry Gordon, admitted that he wrote most of his songs thanks to the Ukrainian artist, former member of the group “VIA Gra” Nadezhda Meikher.
“The role of Nadezhda Meikher in the life of Andrei Mikolaichuk is a completely unexplored field. When I saw Nadezhda Meikher, I fell. She is beautiful. Nadya was a star. Some songs were written for Nadezhda Meikher,” he admitted.
“So you loved her?” – Gordon clarified.
“I loved her, but with a strange love,” he laughed. “There are conversations, but there is some kind of reality. Nadya Meikher for some reason was subscribed to me, and we started corresponding with her. But I don’t like Facebook. I don’t like social networks. But my approach is not erotica. It’s an emotional connection… A creative person must have a muse. And somehow Nadya Meikher was a muse – a little worked.”
