Local residents report that the water in the Seim River has warmed up to +45…+50°C, and it is uncomfortable to even put your hands in it. There are dead fish floating around everywhere.
In this situation, the nearest thermal power plant is suspected. Locals believe that boiling water was poured from there into the Seimas, after which the fish was literally “cooked.”
