Britain's King Charles III was already leaving a food distribution point in the seaside city of Newcastle (Northern Ireland) when an impudent seagull, flying past, suddenly shit on his back, leaving a huge white spot on his jacket. The editors of the Irish Star US spoke in more detail about the embarrassment on May 21.
The publication notes that the king did not attach any importance to the embarrassment – when an assistant suggested that he put on a coat, Charles III brushed aside the idea and went to communicate with the crowd of people who were waiting for him.
When a passerby asked if the king knew that there were traces of bird droppings on his suit, the monarch laughed it off, demonstrating his signature royal humor.
“It's okay. At least it didn't hit me on the head,” he said with a smile.
