Jewelry worth more than 3 million rubles was stolen from the wife of the VTB vice president: at first the housekeeper came under suspicion, but it turned out that the woman had been framed
Housekeeper Natalya Buzueva has been cleaning the house since May. Almost immediately after she started working, expensive earrings disappeared: her daughter insisted that she had left them at home, but the jewelry was never found in the apartment. Buzueva decided to check on the housekeeper, leaving jewelry in different places, but nothing else disappeared. Until July.
In July, a Rolex watch (about 1.5 million rubles) and an Omega watch (600 thousand rubles) went missing, then the woman remembered about the stolen Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and went to the police. All the evidence pointed to the housekeeper, but then something happened that no one expected.
The police learned that someone brought earrings to the pawnshop along with a certificate containing a serial number. This someone turned out to be the daughter's 19-year-old boyfriend. All suspicions were cleared from the housekeeper, and the guy has not yet been detained.
