Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to give up their cars and take part in a large-scale race on Tatyshev

On May 30, a big sports and environmental festival will be held on Tatyshev Island in Krasnoyarsk. On this day, the All-Russian campaign “I Choose Clean Air” and the Green Marathon from Sber will be launched simultaneously.
Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to join the race. In support of the “I Choose Clean Air” campaign, a special “eco-kilometer” is provided. A distance of 5 kilometers is also available. The first 200 people to register on the site will receive a starter pack with branded merch.
As part of the Green Marathon, children's races of 500 meters and 1 kilometer will be held. For adult participants over 14 years old, distances of 4.2 and 10 kilometers have been prepared. In addition, the organizers provided an inclusive route and Nordic walking. The winners and leaders of the races will be awarded medals and valuable prizes.
Krasnoyarsk was not chosen as the site for the start of the all-Russian action. At the end of 2025, residents of the regional center showed the best result in the country – more than 125 thousand “clean kilometers” traveled without using gasoline cars.
The day before, on May 29, an environmental conference “Clean Air: How Cities Are Changing for the Better” will be held at the National Center “Russia” on the Yenisei. It will be attended by representatives of government, business, the scientific and expert community, public organizations and residents of the region.
“The event will be an excellent opportunity to show that environmental problems can only be solved through interaction and direct dialogue between government, business and residents. We have accumulated unique experience in modernizing industry, transferring the private sector to environmentally friendly types of heating and supervisory activities, which we are ready to share with other regions of the country,” noted First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Yulia Gumenyuk.
The all-Russian campaign “I Choose Clean Air” is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air” of the national project “Ecological Well-Being”.
