In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, children almost started a fire for marshmallows

In Divnogorsk, police stopped a violation of the special fire safety regime. This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The duty station received a message from eyewitnesses. They noticed children making a fire on the river bank. Officers from police department No. 13 of the Krasnoyarsk Municipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia arrived at the scene. They found that two boys, 7 and 8 years old, decided to fry marshmallows on skewers. At this time, their mothers were resting nearby and did not control the children’s actions.

Administrative protocols were drawn up against the legal representatives of the boys under the article on the parents’ failure to fulfill their duties for the maintenance and upbringing of minors. In addition, the materials will be sent to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory. There they will decide on holding adults accountable for violating fire safety rules.

The police reminded that during the special fire regime, any open fire is prohibited. Parents were also urged to monitor their children's behavior.
