German mercenary sentenced to death in Belarus — Media
The Minsk Regional Court found 30-year-old Rico Krieger guilty of several criminal charges: “Illegal actions in relation to firearms”, “Making transport or means of communication unusable”, “Creating or participating in an extremist formation”, “Undercover activity”, “Mercenarism” and “Act of terrorism”.
Krieger became the first person to be tried in Belarus for mercenary activity.
