The Russian Sports Acrobatics Championship will be held in Krasnoyarsk at the Ivan Yarygin Sports Palace.
The regional Ministry of Sports said that about 300 athletes from 44 cities of the country will compete for the title of Russian champions, among them are the winners and medalists of the World Cup.
The Krasnoyarsk region will be represented by the strongest athletes of the Sputnik Sports School, winners of all-Russian and international competitions. Among them are the threesome Maria Vedenkina, Elizaveta Klevtsova and Alina Khisamutdinova, couples Polina Eremina-Victoria Sokolova and Pyotr Yarusov-Zakhar Bugleev.
Based on the results of the tournament, candidates for the national team will be determined, as well as participants in the World Championship, which will take place in Italy in September.

May 18
11:00 – start of the competition (fours, men's and women's pairs – balance exercise, triples and mixed pairs – tempo exercise)
15:00 — opening ceremony
19 May
11:00 – start of the competition (fours, men's and women's pairs – tempo exercise, triples and mixed pairs – balance exercise)
May 20
11:00 – start of finals (combined exercise, all-around)
Entrance to the Russian Championship for spectators is with free tickets, which can be obtained after mandatory registration.
