Hostilities with the Russian army continued despite a three-day truce negotiated by the United States, denounced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who accuses Russia of not wanting to end the war that has lasted for more than four years, reports AFP.

“Today (Monday), there was no silence on the front, there was fighting. We revealed everything”denounced in his address on Monday evening, in the last hours of the truce.
“We also note that Russia has no intention of ending this war. Unfortunately, it is preparing new attacks”he declared, News writes.
The Russians and the Ukrainians accused each other of violating the truce – from Saturday until Monday – announced by the American president Donald Trump.
Zelensky also announced that his main negotiator, Rustem Umerov, presented him with the report on recent meetings”political” and “technological” in the United States.
“It is clear that the Iran War is currently attracting most of America's attention“, he lamented.
“But there is also (…) support from the American people to end this war in Europe”he added.
Negotiations between the Russians and the Ukrainians have so far led to nothing and have been pushed into the background by the Middle East War.
The announcement of this armistice, however, raised some hopes regarding a resumption of negotiations.
On the other hand, the head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas assessed, also on Monday, that the dynamics of the War in Ukraine is about to “change” in favor of Kiev.
“Ukraine is in a much better position than a year ago“, she declared in a press conference, evoking “Moscow's record battlefield losses”.
