Ilansky authorities tried to challenge the payment of compensation for the dog attack and lost in court

The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court upheld the decision to compensate a schoolgirl from Ilansky who was bitten by a stray dog.
The incident occurred in September 2025 in the city of Ilansky. A 3rd grade student from school No. 41 was going to class in the morning, and on the way she was attacked by a dog and bitten twice. After this, the girl needed medical care and vaccination. Doctors also recorded a fear of animals and loud noises in the child.

The prosecutor's office went to court on behalf of the schoolgirl. The administration of the Ilansko-Nizhneingashsky district was charged 80 thousand rubles in compensation for moral damage. However, the administration tried to challenge the decision: local authorities said that the district had an agreement with an organization that catches stray animals.
Despite this, the court indicated that such an agreement does not relieve the responsibility of the municipality: the local government body is still obliged to organize the capture of stray animals.
The decision came into force. Its execution is controlled by the prosecutor's office.
