The three-day truce between Ukraine and the Russian Federation announced by US President Donald Trump ended at midnight on May 12.
Some Ukrainian monitoring channels report that the occupiers launched attack drones from the Kursk and Bryansk regions of Russia. Others note that Russian strategic aviation is not yet active and there are no attack UAVs in Ukrainian airspace, but launches are possible during the night. Officially, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not yet warned about the threat, with the exception of KAB launches in the Sumy region.
A regime of silence was declared from May 9 to May 11. During this period, the Russian Federation and Ukraine did not launch massive missile or air strikes, but “there was no calm” in the front-line areas and on the battle line, noted President Vladimir Zelensky.
Russian troops continued shelling, drone attacks and assaults throughout the three days. Residential buildings were hit, and there were casualties and wounded civilians.
