Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov launched the anniversary XX All-Russian specialized forum and exhibition “Modern security systems – Anti-terror”. The event will bring together experts in the field of countering terrorism and ensuring comprehensive security. The main topic of the forum is countering the ideology of terrorism.
“Terrorism does not recognize borders and does not recognize any moral standards. Therefore, issues of countering the terrorist threat require the cohesion of the entire society. We all know from history: not a single enemy has been able to defeat our soldier on the battlefield. The country has always been united and strong. The Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia was replaced by the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. And today, every person is a defender, protects his family, country, the safe future of our children,” said Mikhail Kotyukov.
Alexander Krasovsky, Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, also addressed the participants. He conveyed words of greetings on behalf of the leadership of NAC and emphasized that in the context of current terrorist threats, special attention at ongoing events must be paid to improving preventive work, primarily with young people, and increasing the level of anti-terrorist protection of critical infrastructure facilities.
According to tradition, the forum summed up the results of the regional children's themed drawing competition “Say NO to Terror!” among children from orphanages. Mikhail Kotyukov awarded the authors of the best creative works with valuable prizes and certificates.
Then the governor of the region inspected the exhibition part of the forum – an exposition dedicated to the history of domestic special services, sites with technical security equipment and locations of law enforcement agencies.
Let us remind you that the All-Russian Forum “Modern Security Systems – Anti-Terror” will last until May 22. The result will be a resolution aimed at improving practical measures to counter modern terrorist threats.
