
On May 10, the air defense forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) intercepted two drones launched from Iran. The UAE Ministry of Defense announced this on the X network.
The department emphasized that the country remains “fully prepared” to counter any threats and will continue to defend its sovereignty, security and stability.
According to the Ministry of Defense, “since the start of brazen Iranian attacks,” UAE air defense forces have intercepted 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles and 2,265 drones.
Over the past 24 hours, no casualties or injuries have been recorded. At the same time, since the attacks on the country began, two military personnel have been killed, as well as a Moroccan citizen working under a contract with the UAE armed forces. The total number of civilian deaths is 10 people of different nationalities.
The number of wounded, according to official data, reached 230 people.
