In Hungary, Madyar's comrade-in-arms organized a disco on the steps of parliament. Video

The energetic victory dance performed by the now newly appointed 56-year-old Hungarian Health Minister Zsolt Hegedyus has once again disrupted the network – a video of the politician dancing on the steps of the Hungarian Parliament on May 9 was published on the YouTube channel of the Hungarian news site Telex․hu.

Hegedüs lit on the steps for a minute and a half to a storm of applause from the public, and then began with gestures to invite other members of the government to join him, including the leader of the Tisza political party, Peter Madyar, who on that day took the oath of office in parliament and officially assumed the post of prime minister of the country. Hegedüsz's colleagues at first doubted whether they should organize a disco on the steps of parliament, but then they joined him.

“The Hungarian government is on the dance floor,” they write online.

“A diva, an icon, a legend, or the Minister of Health of Hungary,” they commented on the video.

The minister himself commented on his dance on Facebook as follows: “There is a time for everything, and a time for every task under heaven: a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”

Hegedüs performed his fiery dance for the first time on April 12, immediately after the speech of the leader of the opposition party Tisza, Peter Madyar, who won the elections. After that, he became a social media star.
