The deadline is June 30. It's about 800 plus

Applications can only be submitted electronically. The new benefit period will start on June 1, 2026 and will last until the end of May 2027. So far, parents and guardians have submitted over 3.5 million applications. They affect almost 5 million children.
People who who submitted their application by April 30, they can count on continued benefit payment. The first funds for the new period will be paid no later than the end of June.
For applications submitted in May or June, the benefit for June will also be paideven if there is an interruption in the transfer of funds.

However, applications submitted after June 30 entitle you to the benefit only from the month of submitting the application, without compensation for June.
Applications for childcare benefits can only be submitted electronically. Parents and guardians have several channels at their disposal: eZUS platform, mZUS application, Emp@tia portal and electronic banking.
New 800 plus rules for foreigners
From February 1, 2026, amended regulations regarding Ukrainian citizens with UKR status will apply. To obtain the 800 plus benefit, the parent or guardian must be professionally active, and the child – depending on age – must complete compulsory schooling, one-year kindergarten preparation or compulsory education at a Polish educational institution. This requirement does not apply to children under 6 years of age. Both the adult and the child must live in Poland.

Similar regulations regarding professional activity will apply from June 1, 2026 to other foreigners from outside the European Union and EFTA who legally reside in Poland and have access to the labor market. These changes do not apply to citizens of Poland, EU, EFTA and UK countries covered by the withdrawal agreement.
