Neymar (32 years old) punched him and slapped him Robinho jr (18 years old) at one of his training sessions ditchangry as the son of the former player from real madrid he had dared to dribble him.
Following the incident on Sunday, Neymar apologized to Robinho jr for his inappropriate behaviour. But the son of the former Real Madrid and Manchester City striker doesn't want to leave it at that.
Robinho jr: “Neymar insulted me and slapped me violently across the face”
According to daily Globoesporte, his representatives sent an out-of-court notice to Santos, the club to which both players belong, on Monday demanding action against Neymar over the incident.
In the document, Robinho Jr. accuses the Brazilian international of “uttering insults”, tripping him and applying “a violent slap across the face”. He also requested a meeting with the club to discuss the termination of his own contract due to the “lack of minimum safety conditions”.
FC Santos announces that it has started an investigation
Also, the representatives of the 18-year-old player claim that, if Santos does not implement the measures requested by the young footballer, “the matter could result in an indirect termination of his contract, in addition to considering claims for moral and material damages”.
In response to the request of Robinho jr and his agents, Santos issued a statement outlining the measures the Brazilian club has begun to take: “Santos FC reports that, by order of the president, an internal investigation has been initiated immediately following the incident involving athletes Neymar Jr. and Robson de Souza Jr. (Robinho) during training last Sunday (May 3) at the Rei Pelé Training Center. The Legal Department of the club is responsible for conducting the investigation.
Neymar also argued with fans in April: “I respect this shirt… Shut the hell up!”
In an injury-riddled season, 'Ney', as the fans call him, was the protagonist of a tense moment in April after Santos and Recoleta drew 1-1 in the Copa Sudamericana groups.
He lost his temper at the end of the game and got into a direct conflict with the supporters, amid the team's poor results. A fan yelled at him from the stands, “You should work out more. You're fat ass!”, which knocked him off his feet. His reply: “I respect this shirt…Shut the hell up!”.
